Happy Family Day weekend! We had a great day. This morning, we finished up learning about dangerous decimals through the virtual exhibit website. The boys did a great job logging their information! In Math, we took a break from worksheets and completed a 3-act math riddle and a TedEd riddle. The strategies that these young men are coming up with for problem solving are amazing! Well done! In fact, I think almost the whole class solved the chocolate bar riddle!!
After daily five, we read another chapter of Hatchet. This afternoon, we created a valentine art project, that will hopefully make its way home, all the while handing out our own valentines that we brought in. It was a nice day! Wishing you a warm long weekend! Reminder that us teachers are off to convention tomorrow and Friday so there is no school. Monday is, of course, the Family Day holiday as well. Enjoy! See you Tuesday! Oh...and Happy Valentine's Day! How did I grow today? - Today we handed out our Valentine's Day gifts and we also did the last day of Mission Impossible - In Science, we did hearing - I helped clean up the mission impossible - We made stuff like sculptures and cards and pictures that we drew - We did Ted eds in Math - Tomorrow and Friday we do not have school - Monday is also Family Day!
